About

I am a British artist of Goan decent, an immigrant Born in Uganda in the time of dictator Idi Amin. Myself and my family fled Uganda and were resettled in a small Welsh coastal town. Here I found solace in the dark and mysterious landscape, qualities which still underpin my work.

I use somewhat elemental subject matter to refer to the natural world and bigger things existing beyond and outside the viewer.

My practice explores mark, colour light and form through layers of graphite, glazes of colour, and paired down sculpture.

Recent audio works examine the layering sound, generated artificial audio textures, speech and silence.
